- Fully dry the subfloor and check there's no residual moisture.
- Fit new boards of the same model.
That's why we always recommend keeping leftover material after installation. If the model is no longer manufactured, a similar board can be fitted in a visible area and an original one reused in a less exposed spot.

These mistakes are very common:
- Using heaters or intense direct heat
- Mopping to "clean up" the water
- Ignoring the problem for several days
- Not checking the cause of the moisture
